Time-saving Ideas FB

We all need Time Saving Tools to Rock a Homeschool Schedule.

Curriculum is ordered and box day has arrived. Let the fun begin! Time to find some time saving tools.

Organizing materials and finding storage filing systems to keep all the papers and tests organized is a priority to make us feel we are ready to begin our homeschool year!  But wait, what about our time? We must work on organizing our time in our day. We can have all the materials organized and in a great place but if we have not taken time to schedule our day it will be a really tough start to school. I have been there, but then I found some help.

Homeschool Schedule

One of my favorite books that really helped me to get organized and scheduled was Managers of their Home . Here is a sample copy of one of my schedules from my journey. I began scheduling my homeschool day many years ago. My kids loved the schedule and still today schedule and plan their days as they have entered adulthood.  We used a schedule for 15 years. My kids didn’t like to even think about starting school until they had a schedule in place.

Another tool that I have found recently and I think it is an amazing tool is Homeschool Manager. I am here to tell you this tool is amazing and uses our technology already in place. Yes there is an “App for that”. Try it Free!

Having a planner is so helpful and that is what I like about Homeschool Manager. It helps to schedule the day and is a planner all in one. It is very versatile.  I will be sharing more about Homeschool Manager in future posts.

Having the proper tools to make scheduling stress-free also makes for an easier homeschool day.  Scheduling gives a ton of extra time in the day. My family found more time to do the things we wanted to outside of academics.  When we didn’t follow the schedule, the day was chaotic and my kids were miserable.

Meal time scheduling

Don’t forget about planning those meals for meal time too. Here is s great resource.

It is not just about organizing the school material and books. Organizing and scheduling your time in the day is just as important. Find a tool that will work for you to schedule your day.

This tool has been absolutely amazing too. Instant Pot.

Here is a guest post I did that may be helpful Adapting your Day to your Child’s Needs

Please share some of the tools you use to schedule your homeschool day in the comments.
